Horrible CiCi Pizza experience

We will never eat at CiCi's pizza again. This is the second time we have had bad experiences at the Palestine Restaurant. We only went back cause we had a coupon today. Again even when I wrote my order down they got it wrong. I dont' drink when at a restaurant and was informed I would have to pay for a to go cup. I told the mgr I didn't have any of it and I paid for it. He told me that is CiCi's policy. I asked for the complaint number and he said since he was the mgr it would just go to him anyway! The pizza was NOT good and incorrect to begin with. DO NOT EAT AT CiCi's.

30x50 building

Drew and I went and checked out the building. It is definitely worth getting. We are very excited and will be getting it Sat. Now to find a couple trailers to use and some help.

I am beat!

Drew won't be home til early evening and I have been busy all morning. Cleared wood from one camp site, picked up wood and trash around the hot tub, tended the chickens, rabbits, outside cats, scrubbed the bath house and started laundry. Johnny and I are taking a breakfast break.

Today's Coupon meeting and Today's Savings

Today was our first coupon meeting. I really enjoyed exchanging ideas. Here is a list of my savings from today.

Walgreens...
I started today with a $6 Register Reward from Walgreens from purchases made there yesterday.

I bought a Tylenol precision pain patch on sale for $7.99... used a $5 manufacter coupon and a $3 Walgreens coupons and made .01cents on the deal!

I bought 2 packs of socks for hubby on sale for $2 a pack.

I bought 4 boxes of curad kids bandages on sale for 99cents and used 4 50cents manufacter coupons...so they were 49cents each.

My total after coupons were $5.95... and I wanted to use my $6 RR... so I bought a 33cent carmel to put me over $6 so I could use it. After the $6 RR I paid 28cents.

Let me recap...

Tylenol Precision Pain Patch
2 pks socks
4 boxes bandages
1 carmel
FINAL COST 28 CENTS!

I started out the day with a $3 EB <extra care bucks earned on earlier purchase,

First transaction...2 tooth paste $2.79 each... I had 2 75cents coupons and used
the $3 EB... total with tax paid out $1.08 AND I earned a $2 EB for my next
purchase!

Second transaction...Ban deodorant...$2.99 - 75cent coupon ...used my $2 EB from
transaction #1...paid out .24cents! And earned a $2 EB for next time.

Out of the magic coupon machine today I got coupons for a free Hersey Air candy
bar...cost $1.19...my cost FREE! and $1 off Twizzler large pack...cost
$2...after coupon only $1.

So to recap

Family Dollar...
Hubby loves Axe products...normally $4 or more each... a bonus pack was on sale
for $3.85...so you got 2 things for less than the price of one AND I had a BOGO
coupon <buy one...get one free>. So hubby got 4 Axe products for less than we
normally pay for 1!

French's mustard was on sale for $1... I had a 50cents coupon and stacked it
with a Family Dollar .25 cent coupon... total price .25.

Cutter insect repellent double pack was on sale for $5 and I had a $1.50
coupon...so I only paid $3.50 which is less than I have paid in the past for
just one can.

Lysol kitchen anti cleaner was on sale for $2 and I had a $1 coupon... total
price $1!

Pinesol was on sale for $2 and there was a 25cent coupon on it and I LOVE
Pinesol.

I had a spend $25 and get $5 off coupon to start with so...

21 items purchased including 12pk toilet paper... $12.60 in coupons... total
price...$25.81!

AND WHAT DID YOU SAVE TODAY?

Scores!

2 Days ago I was at CVS and Karen called me.... turns out she was a couple stores over called Rue21. They had men's jeans on clearance for $5! So I headed over there. I got Drew the 2 pairs they had in his waist size and found a nice dress shirt on clearance for $8 and a wallet for me on clearance for $3!

Then I headed to Walgreens... they had charcoal replacement tins reg $6 on clearance for $2.99... each one had a $1 now coupon attached.... so the 6 I got only cost $1.99 each. Of course I had to get a mgr to authorize the coupon cause the reg refused it.

Yesterday Walgreens had men's Dove 6pk soap on sale for $6... buy 3 and get $6 back <$18-$6=$12>. I had 3 $4 coupons <$12-$12= FREE>... well of course they only had 2 pks <often a problem at Walgreens>. So after ALOT of polite arguing the mgr agreed to allow my 3rd coupon on another of their Dove 6pks that was the same price, the cashier just rang the men's soup twice so my coupon would work. With tax I paid appr .50cents for $18 of soap.

Our coupon groups first meeting is today at 1pm at McDonald's, being a holiday weekend I am not sure who will show up. But I will be there. Drew is not going so I will have more time to plan my shopping strategy. I plan on hitting the Family Dollar with my $5 off $25 purchase....Kroger is having a buy 10 items get $3 off sale... and of course will be checking out deals at Walgreens and CVS. I much prefer CVS of the two drug stores.

Registration ...yesterday.

FINALLY we got both the SUV and the TRUCK registered. Paid the mortgage and cell phone bill yesterday. Tried out the new Ocean Buffet Chinese place in Palestine. Got some goat, chicken, rabbit and dog food as well as hay at the Iron feed store in town. Went to the local pet store and boy are they expensive. Did pick up two tiny bags of Nutro food...one for the cats and one for the inside dogs cause I had great coupons $7 and $5 off. At Walmart we got the DiGiorno Pizza combos, mine with wyngs and his with breadsticks cause we had $2 off coupons, I was not impressed with the wyngs which I tried for supper... I hope the pizza is better. I also got two piece of material... one to make a dress and the other a hot tub wrap. The one was shades of purple with a smocked top and the other a shimmering gray ...the gray was on the clearance table for only $1.50 a yd and I bought 2 yards of that; the purple was expensive $10.97 and bought 1.5 yds but for under $20 for a pretty sundress is not bad at all.  Also picked up some dog and cat food there we had coupons for. Didn't get home til around 7pm and never did get to the drugstore coupon deals. That is ok.... I will check them out today. Still looking for a large binder for my coupons, must be a 3 inch and thinking I am gonna have to get the $20 one at Office Depo... but gonna look around while in Tyler tomorrow for one. Drew and I really busted ass organizing coupons yesterday. Organization is the key for sure.
